Kirk Palmeris an artist based in Saint Petersburg, Florida. His art practice is informed by poetry, literature, philosophy, and myth, alternating between abstract and figurative painting.  Although political violence and individual dislocation tend to form a subtext in his work, he aims to engage the viewer to consider perspectives beyond fatalism and indifference.
