Kirk is an painter in Saint Petersburg, Florida. His art practice centers on the idea of reclaiming a sense of static space in the midst of the contemporary moment.  Although violence and individual dislocation tend to form a subtext in his work, he aims to challenge the viewer to reject fatalism and indifference.
