Based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, Kirk Palmer's art practice is informed by poetry, literature, philosophy, and myth, alternating between abstract and figurative painting.  Although individual dislocation tends to form a subtext in his work, he aims to engage the viewer to consider perspectives beyond fatalism and indifference.
